A scan tool is an important part of the diagnostic process, but it does not diagnose the vehicle for us.

It provides fault codes and vehicle data that help our technicians determine where to begin. From there, additional testing and inspection are needed to identify what caused the fault and determine the correct repair.

The same fault code can have multiple possible causes, which is why replacing a part based on a code alone can lead to unnecessary repairs.

Proper diagnostics combine the right equipment with the knowledge and experience to interpret what the vehicle is telling us.

Quality automotive repair takes time especially when working with European and exotic vehicles.

A proper repair involves more than replacing a part. Our technicians have to accurately diagnose the issue, determine the correct repair, complete the work, and verify that everything is functioning as it should.

Some repairs are straightforward. Others require extensive diagnostics, specialized parts, or additional testing.

Spend enough time together and eventually the work group chat just becomes an all day, in person conversation.😂

Between the cars, the customers, and whatever is happening around the shop that day, there’s never a shortage of entertainment at VEX.

Wouldn’t be a normal workday without a little chaos mixed in.👀
