Horse of the week:
Meet one of the newest members of our herd, Rockin' Rizzou aka Rizz! We know the name is funny but it has stuck! We purchased Rizz last fall and she has been a great addition to our riding program as she can do EVERYTHING! She has great scope over fences and has taken to be a favorite of the Western program as well. She also is our ONLY grey horse! Her previous owner rescued her and gave her an excellent foundation. We are very grateful to them and so happy to have this fun little mare!

The Advocate came to document the Cory Bourque Clinic, held on Saturday, and we would like to share a few of those moments. We are excited to bring more events that focus on improving horsemanship and the partnership that is the foundation of all equestrian sports in the near future so stay tuned! Thank you to all who attended. We were over the moon to be able to host this clinic. Thank you also to Cory, and his wife Nicole,for creating such a special day!

Rounding out our busy weekend, another fun filled horsey themed birthday 🐴🎂🥳. We can’t wait for cooler weather so we don’t have to sweat 😅 so much, but these cowgirls came ready to ride and have a good time regardless of the heat🥳

We just want to thank Cory for coming to Farr Park and teaching our participants all day in this heat 🥵 the clinic was full and I think everyone went away with some new ideas and techniques. Hopefully we can do another one in cooler weather.

Oh what a sight!! Water!! 💦 Sadly it’s not rain 🌧️ but it was past time we turn on the sprinkler system in our outdoor arena so our boarders and patrons don’t feel like they are riding in the desert🏜️🐪🐫🌵
It’s been so hot 🥵 with no rain in sight. Stay cool 😎

Don’t forget we will be hosting this great horsemanship clinic this weekend. The clinic is full but auditors are still welcome.

Clinic is FULL!! Auditing still available and you can register at the door. Told you this would sell out fast. 😅 hopefully we will be able to coordinate another clinic at a later date. Stay tuned.

Here by very popular demand, Farr Park is pleased to announce that Cory Bourque will be hosting a Horsemanship Clinic on August 22nd from 9-4. Spots are limited and they are going to fill up fast, so call to get registered. Auditing (coming without a horse to observe) is also available. We are very excited about this opportunity and encourage everyone who is interested to register. If you don’t have a horse but want to participate, we can provide you with one of our BREC horses for the day!! Just call and we can hook you up.
