My kids' lives have transformed dramatically since this event transpired! The fact that my kids get scared 😱 when they see any cop. The fact that my kids don’t even feel safe living in Livingston parish anymore! The fact that I have been getting death threats every day since this event has me. As a black mother with boys that was born with strikes already against them, it empowers me to see how resilient they are! My boys will rise above this and I will stand by them, guiding them towards a brighter future! ❤️
