Are you wearing pink this month? WE ARE!

This October, Quality Auto Mart & Service is proud to participate in Brakes for Breast, helping fund Cleveland Clinic’s work toward a preventive breast cancer vaccine.

What is the research about?
Cleveland Clinic researchers are studying a vaccine aimed at preventing triple-negative breast cancer, an aggressive form of the disease. The vaccine is designed to train the immune system to recognize a protein called alpha-lactalbumin, which is found in many triple-negative breast tumors.

In the Phase 1 study, 74% of participants developed an immune response. This is an encouraging step, but further studies are needed to determine whether the vaccine can prevent cancer. It remains investigational.

Here’s how you can help:

An overheating engine can be caused by:
