Fireworks Can Create Memories. Make Sure They’re Good Ones.

As we celebrate Independence Day with family, friends, and neighbors, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office encourages everyone to put safety first.

Every year, preventable accidents happen because fireworks are used carelessly or without proper precautions. A few simple steps can help keep your celebration safe:

• Leave large or professional fireworks to the professionals.
• Keep a safe distance from fireworks once they are lit.
• Have a bucket of water or a garden hose nearby in case of an emergency.
• Bring pets indoors, as loud noises can cause fear and anxiety.
• Never relight a firework that fails to ignite.
• Soak used fireworks in water before throwing them away.
• If you see suspicious or dangerous activity, report it immediately.

We want everyone to enjoy the holiday and return home safely. Let’s all do our part to protect our families, our neighbors, and our community.

Hey everyone! We wanted to let everyone know that we are fully booked for monthly/long term sites at this time. But, you can still give us a call and Kasey will take your information to add to our waiting list! As we get openings or cancellations, she will be reaching out to see if the reservation is still needed.

We do still have sites for weekend and weekly campers available!
