So to start this off yes we are remaining open and working for now.
After working in the motorcycle industry for 20+ years I have decided that I am getting bored with it. Everyday is the same, I feel like I have mastered this industry. The constant deadlines have finally worn me down. I've done some really cool things over the years, met some really cool people and have worked very hard to get where I am at. I have helped thousands of families and veterans in our community. That being said I was considering closing my shop at the end of the year. Much thought has gone into this and I have reflected on how much work I have put into building Dirty Dean's. Just even making the perfect logo was a lot of thought and time. I hate to see it all go to waste and rather than close it and part it out I have decided to see if someone would like to buy it and take over a highly reputable company. This would be sold turn key. Tools, social media, lifts, inventory, used parts, Google account, logo .... everything. Even comes with employees if you treat them right. I would be willing to hang out until December to make sure the new owner has a handle on everything. I would even be willing to train, offer advice, do a meet and greet party for the customers and the new owner or I could just get out of your way if the new owner wants that. So as of today Dirty Dean's is up for sale as a turn key business!
To my customers, I know everyone is very picky about who works on their bike. If you are wanting work on your bike done by us start scheduling now. Don't wait until winter. All jobs scheduled with me will be completed before any transactions happen so you are comfortable knowing the job you scheduled with me is done by me and the potential new shop owner has a fresh start with no incomplete jobs in the shop.
If the shop does not sell we will stop taking work in the beginning of November and start running sales on everything to clear it all out. If it is your dream to own a bike shop and you don't want to start from scratch please come and see me. I will be selling it for a reasonable price. It's not cheap but it is reasonable.
The building is leased and I have spoken with the landlord and he is willing to renew the lease to anyone wanting to buy the business or you can move the shop to another location. The lease is up 12-31-24. If anyone has any questions feel free to reach out during business hours.
Respectfully,
Dirty Dean
