Do not assume your heat cable is working just because the indicator light on the GFCI box is on! The light indicates that electrical power is reaching the box, but it does not guarantee that power is leaving the box and reaching the heat cable. Heat cable can fail in one small section while the remainder of the cable continues to operate. If a section of heat cable fails, there is a good chance that this is where your water line will freeze.

The best time to check your heat tape is when there is an outside temperature of approximately 25–30°F.

🍂 Fall Fest at Bartlett Nature Center | Saturday, Oct 17 (10 AM – 2 PM)
Enjoy horse-drawn hayrides through the trails, live animal encounters (meet Maverick), local food trucks, games, and an Eco Craft Fair. Perfect for all ages!

👻 Halloween Fun Fest & Parade | Saturday, Oct 24 (10 AM - 1 PM)
Costume up for the community parade stepping off from Village Hall down to the Metra Station, followed by downtown Trick/Trunk-or-Treating and spooky gallery visits!

When you return your lease agreement, it is necessary for you to return the ENTIRE white packet. We do recommend reading it as there has been some changes. There is a signature line in the lease guidelines packet (3rd page from the BACK of the packet). It is also necessary for you to fill out the entire front page and sign.
All white copies should be returned to our office and yellow copies are for your records.

When picking up your student from the bus stop, please do not park on the street.

Instead, use the rear parking lot or parking strip.

Keeping the roadway clear improves visibility, prevents traffic problems, and helps ensure children can safely get to their rides. Thank you for your cooperation! ❤️

Today’s air quality is measured using the AQI (Air Quality Index).
🟢 0–50 = Good
🟡 51–100 = Moderate
🟠 101–150 = Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups
🔴 151–200 = Unhealthy
🟣 201–300 = Very Unhealthy
🟤 301+ = Hazardous

The AQI in Bartlett is currently 235

If the AQI reaches higher levels, please take precautions — especially children, older adults, pets, and anyone with breathing concerns. Stay safe and check the air quality before spending extended time outdoors! 🌿
