Valve train geometry is crucial when you start playing around with valve lift and different ratio rocker arms on these little motors. Needed .120” shims under the block to get it right. I had some already cut chromoly pushrods but they’re too short so looks like I’ll be cutting some more.

After a very busy week with the snow at work, I still managed to get some stuff done on both.. a little chassis and body...

After a very busy week with the snow at work, I still managed to get some stuff done on both.. a little chassis and body work on the beetle, and the last of the buffing on the bus. Finished sanding with 8000 grit. Waiting on a few more electrical parts for the directionals on the bus but she’s just about ready for the road.
