engines in any configuration from 36hp to stroker 2300cc+. Naturally aspirated or turbo. We have built hundreds upon hundreds of these engines and can build you a combination to suit street, strip, off road, or for a dependable daily driver. From the machine work, assembly, turbo system fab work, to carb tuning... Its all done here at Midwest Air-Cooled. We rebuild all types of VW transaxles: swing axle Bug, swing axle early Bus w/ reduction boxes, IRS, and Bus 3/5/6 rib. Stock and performance builds are available. Over 50 years of professional experience with air-cooled VWs between all of us at the shop. There isn't a nut or bolt we haven't touched on these cars.
