🐾 WE’VE DONE IT AGAIN! ANOTHER PET FOOD DELIVERY IS HEADED ACROSS MAINE! 🚚
What started as a way to help bridge the distance between donated pet food and the organizations that need it has turned into something pretty special — and we’re excited to be part of another round of deliveries.
Through the continued collaboration of Chewy , Maine Humane, Greater Good Charities, Bangor Humane Society , Eastern Area Agency on Aging, and Quirk Auto Group, another shipment of pet food is making its way from Augusta to communities across northern and eastern Maine.
This time, food will support:
🐾 Furry Friends Food Bank — Brewer
🐾 The Pixel Fund Pet Rescue
🐾 Howland Animal Control
🐾 Old Town Animal Orphanage
And we’re helping take it even farther north, with additional pallets headed to:
🐾 Halfway Home Pet Rescue — Caribou
🐾 PAWS Animal Welfare Society, Inc. — Fort Kent
🐾 ARK Animal Sanctuary — Houlton
That last leg is where our Quirk Parts team comes in. By incorporating these deliveries into an existing northern Maine parts route, we can help get the food closer to the organizations receiving it — saving them a trip south and allowing more of their time and resources to stay focused on the animals they serve.
We’re proud that what began as a collaborative solution has become something we’re able to do again and keep moving forward.
A truck, a few pallets, an existing route, and a lot of organizations willing to work together can make a pretty big difference. ❤️
