Mr. Stephens' C10 has exited the building once again! And from what he tells me, it will be in route to Scrapin' the Coast tomorrow morning to be shown in the Coliseum. Some weeks back when it came, we were initially just going to make some repairs and fix some leaks. Then that turned into this. Removed the air ride, then we narrowed the rear axle (in-house) and completely redesigned the front and rear suspension: custom shock mounts front and rear, Afco Racing coilovers on all four corners, custom brake hardlines, custom adjustable Panhard bar, UMI front lower control arms, and UMI sway bar. And to top it all off, we sent his Raceline billet wheels off and had them rehooped to a 12-inch wheel and over an 8-inch lip! This unit is sitting absolutely DIRTY. Mind you, that is a 33-inch tire tucked in the bed like that with the tightest fitment I could accomplish 😮💨. And with literal hours to spare, I had to deal with the gapping hole in the middle of the bed. Even though it has a bed cover, I couldn’t let that slide, so I grabbed some aluminum flat bar and started working and ended with this design. If you find yourself at Scrapin' the Coast this weekend, don’t overlook this one; it’s the real deal!
