2015 Ford F-350 6.7L Powerstroke with a very long and unfortunate story of misdiagnosis and costly repairs for parts that weren’t bad at an OEM dealership while this customer was having issues states away.

This truck ended up receiving a multitude of parts after being severely starved for fuel (the fuel pressure tanked from the already low 55psi to 0 psi even under a 1/4 throttle) for at least 1000 miles from a failed “low pressure fuel pump/ lift pump” that even audibly sounded awful the very second you turned the key on and should have most definitely thrown a red flag to anyone and most especially a mechanic…

124,000 miles, Stock CP4 injection pump with no disaster prevention kit or protection device installed that was severely starved for fuel for over 1000 miles… How it didn’t glitter bomb the whole fuel system is nothing short of a miracle and this customer is extremely lucky even despite the initial misdiagnosis and waste of money.

2018 GMC L5P Duramax with an unfortunate catastrophic turbo failure caused by a faulty electronic turbo vane actuator, which stuck the turbo vanes all the way closed mid-acceleration and oversped the turbo beyond its limit, which unfortunately caused the once-happy marriage and bond (the turbine shaft) between the compressor wheel and turbine wheel to break, and boy was this divorce nasty. Metal shavings were made, metal shavings were thrown, and now the intercooler is involuntarily involved and ruined.

This customer wanted to upgrade from factory, so this truck received all of the following parts along with a new OE Front Main Seal that was found leaking mid-tear down:

• DDP/Dans Diesel Performance Stage 2 64MM 9 Blade Turbo with a new OE 2020+ Vane Actuator.
• CSF OEM Plus all-metal intercooler.
• HSP cold-side intercooler pipe (upgrade from factory plastic pipe).
• PPE/Pacific Performance Engineering Transmission Thermal Bypass Block.

PSA: 17-19 L5P WC Fab Cold-Side intercooler pipes do not at all get along with a 17-19 L5P CSF OEM Plus intercooler and absolutely will not fit. With that being said, if anyone has a 17-19 L5P truck with a stock intercooler and needs a WC Fab Cold-Side intercooler pipe finished in Bengal Red, I do have one on the shelf.

An absolute school bus of a 2005 Ford F-550 6.0L from about a month ago that received a full set of Holders Diesel Stock Premium Injectors and one new hold down after an unfortunate compression seal failure on cylinder #5 which sent 300+ psi of compression into the low pressure fuel system which ruined multiple injectors and cracked the fuel pressure regulator housing on the fuel bowl…

This truck also received a set of CSC O-Ringless Standpipes and dummy plugs with OEM ford lower standpipes to eliminate that dreaded failure, a Ford blue spring kit to boost fuel pressure and of-course 15 quarts of Schaeffers 10W-30 oil to give these injectors the absolute best start to life…

2008 6.4L Powerstroke Owned by the man the myth the legend… Erik Peterson. Let’s just call this project snowball because boy did it snowball and continue to snowball into a finished product so far off course from what it initially started as because “while we are there we might as well do this”… times 1000. 238,000 miles with blown head gaskets doesn’t exactly put someone in a great position especially with a 6.4 because it’s at the mileage and overall age that it’s due for a reseal, it’s due for a cam and a set of lifters which all require engine removal and being a small displacement high revving engine like 6.0s and 6.4s are with the added factor of the tuning from 2012 known for killing these engines by melting them to a crisp you are money way ahead to go all in and do a full rebuild which is what this job turned into. For this truck i put together an engine I’ve been calling a “ BDP Stage 1 Towmaster” only for giggles which features pretty well every product on the market to make a 6.4 reliable and an absolute power and torque monster and a perfect setup for what this guy uses it for which is towing..

• ARP Rod Bolts
• Stage 1 Camshaft
• Johnson Lifters
• Chromoly Pushrods
• Upgraded Rocker Arm Assembly’s

I greatly apologize to anyone and everyone who has reached out in the past few months and not heard back from me or experienced a delayed response time, it has been an absolute riot around here since the new year and Ive been so busy I was left with no choice but to stop answering the phone. This is not to be taken as an advertisement for builds of this caliber or especially in-house powder coating but much more to just be a showcase because although I’d love to do these builds everyday it does take me much longer than what i say is reasonable to complete a job this size and to this level of quality being that this is only a part time business for the time being which leaves me with a very small window of time in the evenings and weekends to run what has very quickly became a second full time job…

Had a 2014 Ford F-550 6.7 Powerstroke in the shop (barely lol, as pictured it literally used every last inch of shop depth I have available) to get a coolant leak fixed and a full service, in typical 6.7 fashion that simple request became a much bigger job upon the initial arrival inspection and the finding of almost every common leak point of these 6.7s to be puking its guts out… This truck ended up getting a multitude of parts and seals with a few of the most prominent being

• All 8 Injector Tube Seals
• The Newest Latest and Greatest Updated Crankcase Ventilation Filter
•Best of the Best BD Diesel Exhaust Manifolds
• OEM Oil and Fuel Filters
• And ofcourse some Schaeffers Oil to top it off with whip cream and a cherry on top…

PSA: I am extremely extremely busy rightnow so I do apologize to anyone trying to get on my schedule and haven’t been able to, I do work a full time job and spend almost every last bit of free time I have running this business, I promise I do try my absolute best to manage it as good as if it was a full time job but that can be extremely difficult and most times impossible so please bare with me until I’m able to reach you back with an accurate timeline… Thankyou!
