Just finished putting a high performance impeller in a returning customer’s ‘03 GPR800. Old impeller was a little beat up from some rocks but the wear ring is still tight, actually threw some sparks out when I started it up.

Just finished fixing up two 1997 Seadoo XP’s that had been previously worked on by a shade tree mechanic. One was missing a couple exhaust manifold bolts, so they just caked the exhaust gasket with silicone (but it still leaked), it also had one Rave valve turned the wrong direction so it would not function, and carbs weren’t tuned correctly. On the other one, the needle seat levers were bent so the pop-off pressure was very low and would flood the engine, also the low speed screws weren’t tuned correctly.

This ‘03 GP800r was my last big project for the season. It recently had the engine rebuilt TWICE and the carbs “rebuilt”. It had a dead cylinder. I found it had dropped a power valve and damaged the piston. When I had the engine apart I noticed the screws on the carbs had never been removed. So I rebuilt the carbs and put new oil lines on it.

‘99 XP Limited came in with the classic 5amp computer fuse blowing. I found the bendix spur gear had some broken teeth that stuck to the magneto then did some damage to the stator. Also found the front piston was melted down from a lean condition caused by a leaking crank seal. So it got new pistons and bore, I replaced the restrictive air box with Pro K flame arresters, changed jetting, and put carbon tech reeds in it.

Just finished fixing a ‘96 Seadoo SPX that would not start. The owner cranked on it so long the crankcase was filled with oil enough to push oil into the fuel pump. The fuel needles were stuck shut, carb filters were plugged with fuel line gunk, and it also needed a new wear ring and oil seal in the jet pump. The cooling line fitting was broken off and held back together with silicone.
