MEET CHARLIE #161933 🐾

Meet Charlie, a handsome 1-year-old Alaskan Husky looking for his forever home! ❤️ At 70 pounds, this sweet boy has a gentle, mellow personality, but like all Huskies, he needs plenty of daily exercise, mental stimulation, and companionship to thrive.

Charlie came to the shelter after his previous owner could no longer physically manage his size. Now, he’s ready for a fresh start with a family who understands his needs and can give him the love and commitment he deserves. 🏡

Huskies are intelligent, energetic dogs who need an active lifestyle and the right environment. Finding the right match is so important, and Charlie deserves a family who will love him for a lifetime. 🤍

Could Charlie be your new best friend? 🐶

Meet Bluey. 🐾💙

She may be small, but she definitely knows how to make herself heard.

Bluey is a sweet, calm little terrier weighing just 15.5 pounds. She’s healthy, spayed, and ready to find a family of her own. She’s used to being around people and has plenty of personality—especially when something gets her excited.

Her story is also an important reminder of why spaying and neutering our pets matters. Preventing unplanned litters helps keep more animals out of shelters and gives pets like Bluey a better chance at finding the right home.

📍 Available through Bakersfield SPCA
🐶 Bluey — ID #161851

And don’t forget: Bakersfield SPCA’s next low-cost vaccination clinic is October 24.

Help us get Bluey’s face in front of her future family. 💙

Meet Flippy. 🐾💙

Small dog. Big personality. And currently looking for a family to call his own.

Flippy is a one-year-old, 10-pound Chihuahua who’s healthy, neutered, and ready for adoption through the Bakersfield SPCA. His favorite way to introduce himself? Rolling right onto his back and waiting for a belly rub.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a four-legged companion to the family, Flippy might be the one.
