Congratulations David! Thank you for choosing and trusting American Racer tires.

🏁🏆 Congratulations to David Taft, your 2026 SoCal Lightning Sprint Champion! 🏆🏁

A championship represents so much more than one great night of racing. It’s a season of hard work, determination, countless hours in the shop, and showing up ready to give it your all. This year, David and the #54 team get to celebrate that effort with a championship title!

Join us in congratulating David, his crew, and the family, friends, and sponsors who helped make this season possible. So much goes into getting a car to the track, and this is a moment for everyone behind the #54 to be proud of!

Congratulations, David—you’ve earned that CHAMPION title! 🏁🎉

Well, it looks like PG&E has officially taken the power out of our racing plans this weekend!

First and foremost, we want to thank the officials at Santa Maria Speedway for spending the morning working to secure generators and alternative power sources in hopes of keeping our Bragging Rights Challenge on schedule.

Unfortunately, after exhausting those options, USCS and Santa Maria Speedway have collectively made the decision to RESCHEDULE the Bragging Rights Challenge to FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH!

But there’s a bright side to all of this!

With the rising costs of fuel, hotels, and sprint car parts, we know what it takes for our teams to travel and compete. Rather than risk everyone making the trip with no guarantee of having lights, we’re turning this into a TWO-NIGHT, TWO-TRACK WEEKEND!

Friday, November 6th at Santa Maria Speedway

Saturday, November 7th at Ventura Raceway

To all our teams heading to Western Worlds next weekend, good luck and safe travels!

We’ll see everyone November 6th at Santa Maria Speedway!
