Great first outing with Rusty’s 55. Made some great shakedown runs Friday and Saturday night. 5.50 and 5.48 to the 1/8 mile. And one 1/4 mile run that looks real close to an 8.70-8.80 (1/4mile boards were not on so we estimate off of data) Overall a great few passes and great data to build on! Looking forward to the next outing with the big girl! #1955

Rusty’s 55 drag n drive Chevy came in as a complete roller. Rusty ditched the pro charged ls combo and built a whole new twin turbo combination that the boys have been pluggin away on. 434ci LS with twin Turbosmart 76mm turbos, behind that is a Mike’s Transmission… turbo 400 with a Gear Vendors over drive unit. Stainless Bros. got us all of the material for plumbing our exhaust and cold side pipes. Running a full Holley Performance dominator set up with the 12” pro dash. Testing to come very soon and then we need to track down some good drag n drive events. Drop your suggestions where we should take this badass 55. #1955

Sometimes, it’s not about building the wildest one-off custom vehicle or creating something that stops every person in their tracks.

Sometimes, it’s about bringing someone home.

A familiar smell. The sound of an old V8 coming to life. The way the steering wheel feels in your hands. Those little details have a way of unlocking memories you thought were gone forever.

The best builds aren’t always the ones that win trophies or dominate social media. Sometimes, they’re time machines.

That’s exactly what this squarebody Chevy is for Rusty.

The moment he slides behind the wheel and turns the key, he’s transported back to a chapter of life where everything felt a little simpler, the roads seemed endless, and the best memories were still being made.

To most people, it’s just an old truck.

To Rusty, it’s his youth, his family, his stories, and a lifetime of memories brought back to life.

That’s why we do what we do.

Because we’re not just restoring metal—we’re restoring moments. We’re preserving history. We’re building rolling time capsules that allow people to revisit the greatest chapters of their lives, one drive at a time.

And to us, there’s nothing more magical than that.

Rusty’s Chevy C10 “Bad Grandpa” is almost ready for the streets. Taking an old truck and making it look like it is straight out of the late 80s early 90s has been fun. An absolute sleeper of a truck. Roadster Shop spec chassis and a 525hp LS3/ 6L80e connect and cruise disguised as a SBC should keep people guessing when he is tearing up the streets of Bakersfield!

Little before and after but still in progress shots! We like to lower the rear bedside of these truck to match the original width of the stock bumpers. Kolby White wedging them down roughly 2” is something 98% of people won’t notice but to those who do is the people who matter. Now reworking the bumper to fit properly and this little mod will be wrapped up.

New Patina build getting started! The blueprint for this one is pretty simple! Tons of power and great suspension. We turned to our boys Tom Nelson for their 1200hp 427LS 4L80 package and Roadster Shop for their slam spec chassis on coilovers! Baer Brakes will be bringing this ol girl to a stop. A set of Forgeline wheels and a Ron Mangus interior to bring it all home! Thank you to our great customers for the opportunity to turn visions into reality and our crew who makes it happen! Stay up, stay blessed, and build cool s**t!
