Today's safety topic for both our employees and valued customers is Severe Weather Awareness. With severe storms forecasted, we wanted to remind everyone to stay prepared. To effectively stay prepared and protected, adhere to these best practices: Know Your Hazards: Familiarize yourself with local geography and common extreme weather types in your Indiana region. Maintain Multiple Warning Sources: Utilize NOAA Weather Radios, Wireless Emergency Alerts, and local broadcast media. Have a Shelter Plan: Identify your safest indoor location and seek lowest level of sturdy buildings during warnings. Never Drive Through Flooded Roads: Turn around, don't drown, as flash flooding is incredibly dangerous. Everyone stay safe and have a plan!!

Since we are right in the middle of , Detro Trailers LLC wanted to bring up the topic of "slips, trips and falls" again because it is a leading cause of injuries in the workplace. We tend to get A LOT of shipments of parts almost every day - our UPS and rural carrier are on a first name basis 😁!! Here are a couple pictures of before and after cleaning up a shipment of cargo straps. This post is a reminder to ourselves that putting these parts up quickly and efficiently makes the parts area not only safer for us to work, customers can also shop safely as well! This June, as we observe Safety Month, we are keen on sharing safety awareness with our customers. Recently, our shop inspected a trailer that had undergone service, and our team discovered a safety concern. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the jack had loose bolts that could be moved by hand. The picture depicts our mechanic identifying a loose bolt that was at risk of falling out or breaking off, while wearing appropriate PPE. Thanks to our mechanic's diligence, the bolt was tightened, and the trailer was made safe for customer use. Detro Trailers LLC remains committed to ensuring the safety of our employees and customers.
