We’re a growing, USMC veteran and family-owned shop looking for a full-time technician with strong character, good morals, and pride in their work.
Work for an owner who understands the work. Before opening this shop, I was a master technician and shop foreman. My focus now is running the shop, supporting our technicians, and ensuring quality repairs. I have the hands-on experience to understand what I’m asking of you, help work through problems, and get my hands dirty when needed.
We sell what’s needed and explain what can safely wait. Our goal is to take care of customers, earn their trust, and build lasting relationships. Honesty matters just as much as technical ability.
We have four bays, with plans to keep our team at no more than three technicians overall.
I also own a growing logistics company, so our workload includes servicing Ram 2500/3500 trucks, semi trucks, and trailers, alongside our customers’ vehicles.
C TECH — $20/hour OR $25/hour flat rate
A developing technician who handles oil changes, tires, rotations, inspections, and basic maintenance. Assists with repairs while building diagnostic and mechanical skills. Must be willing to learn, follow procedures, and ask for help when needed.
B TECH — $25/hour OR $30/hour flat rate
An experienced technician who independently handles most everyday repairs, including brakes, steering, suspension, cooling systems, starters, and alternators. Comfortable with scan tools and common diagnostics, with occasional guidance on complex electrical, drivability, or major mechanical problems.
A TECH — $35/hour OR $45/hour flat rate
An advanced technician who independently diagnoses and repairs complex electrical, drivability, and mechanical problems. Comfortable with wiring diagrams, oscilloscopes, diagnostic testing, and major engine and drivetrain repairs. Can identify the root cause and verify the repair.
A TECH WITH ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES — $40/hour
An A-level technician whose role also includes training and developing other technicians and talking with customers about diagnostic findings and repairs. Expectations will be clearly discussed up front.
Hourly pay is my preference. I want technicians to have time to diagnose accurately, make quality repairs, and communicate honestly. I understand some technicians prefer flat rate, so I’m open to either arrangement.
Hourly pay is based on hours worked. Flat-rate pay is based on billed labor hours produced. Technician placement is based on demonstrated ability and experience.
Our shop equipment includes:
* Vehicle lifts and engine hoists.
* Proper A/C service machines.
* A computer for each technician.
* Two scan tools, both with oscilloscope capabilities.
* A Snap-on ZEUS and pass-through programming equipment.
