Ladies and gentlemen.....
START YOUR MOWERS!!!!!!
The 11th annual Snowbird Nationals hosted by Nasgrass at Florida Flywheelers Park on Friday and Saturday MARCH 7th and 8th. This is our biggest event of the year with side by side garden tractor pandemonium! 100+ horsepower Mowchines battling it out sideways- full throttle on the clay for the gold at speeds of 60+ miles per hour!!! Our teams are ready and the competition couldn't be more fierce at speeds that a riding mower should never see! So come on out if you have never been or keep putting it off, this is the race you want to see!! We have classes from mild to wild and drivers from 6 to 86 from all over the state of Florida and many states across the country. In addition to the modified sod slingers we will have Food Trucks with delicious eats, Smokin Bear BBQ, Herman the Peanut man, and Kona Ice for a sweet treat! 50-50 raffle and prize give aways during our intermission break. This is affordable family fun for a great cause as we are a non-profit volunteer ran facility with one common interest, community, Family, fun, and friendship. (And a crazy mower race!) A show you just gotta see to believe! Make it a dinner and a show!
Get there a little earlier if you can to get a great seat! We are expecting larger than normal crowds at this National event. We have added alot of extra bleachers for additional seating. We suggest you bring your folding chairs just in case. Parking inside the spectators area along the fence will be limited as we are making room for more seating areas. These tailgating spots are first come first served and no spots will be saved. If you are lucky to get a tailgating parking spot you are required to stay the full length of the event. Unless there is a definite emergency you need to stay parked until all racing activities are over. If you can't commit to this simply park in the outer general parking area. Please leave your headlights off during the event so you don't blind our racers. We can not have any cars or extra vehicles driving around the pit areas nor the spectators areas with this amount of attendees so no vehicles other than tow vehicles allowed in pit area. All additional vehicles will park in general parking outside the gate. Handicapped ♿ parking along the outside fence. Look for the signs on fence.
You may use pop-up tents as long as you secure them to the ground properly and pit area pop up tents must be located behind trailers to maximize parking. Pets must be kept on a leash at ALL TIMES and must be picked up after.
Stop by the ticket booth to get all your Nasgrass swag! Shirts, hats, etc.
