Who we are:Just Go Rental Miami LLC has a boat rental operation.
Job :This position welcomes and accommodates guests and staff in an effective and courteous manner. Directly participates in daily operation of water craft rental. Must have a strong dedication to customer service, and a positive, friendly attitude. Must be able to perform a variety of physical tasks in a variety of weather conditions including sun, wind, and rain.
Your will be required to:
-Follow daily opening procedures including preparing water craft for rent, bailing rain water out of boats, wiping down boat seats, cleaning up etc...
-Prepare boats each morning/evening before renting water craft to guests.
-Greet guests who visit the company, answering questions about the area and water craft rentals.
-Become familiar with and know how to operate all water craft that we rent.
-Rent motor boats to guests including life jackets etc.
-Launch and retrieve water crafts.
-Driving boats to launch ramps when necessary.
-Assist guests entering and exiting boats according to procedures
-Give operational instructions to guests like they may never have operate a boat before, including directions on where to go in the bay etc.
-Ensure guest safety at all times and call for assistance if needed according to established procedures
-Monitor guests using rental equipment
-Must be able to work with diverse populations in a supportive and positive manner and diplomatically handle guest situations which may involve talking them out of renting one craft and renting another due to abilities; always being polite and professional
-Fueling boats and monitor boat fuel. Refill gasoline containers according to established procedures
-Know and comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and emergencies
-Report to work on time
-Communicate closely with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
-Must work a flexible and rotational schedule, including holidays and weekends
-Responsible for projects assigned by management.
Qualifications:
-Must be drug free
-Must have past boat operating experience and/or basic mechanical ability
-Should be able to drive and back a boat trailer
-Must be at least 21 years of age
-Must have valid driver’s license
-Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
-Must be able to swim and pass a simple swim test.
-Must frequently lift and/or carry objects weighing 65 pounds.
-Must be able to effectively communicate with others and follow written/oral instructions and procedures.
-Strong ability to communicate to the public and emergency personnel and give instructions.
-Demonstrated ability to remain calm and handle stressful situations with professionalism.
-Lifesaving and CPR certifications preferred.
-Boater Safety course preferred
-Working weekends and holidays are a must.
-Ideally live in or around Sea Isle Marina or in Aventura
Pay: $12 per hour + tips
