A 2007 Toyota Solara came in last week with shuddering vibrations at highway speed and a battery that wasn't charging. The driver thought it was an electrical issue. The real problem? The serpentine belt had completely failed, which shut down the alternator. Austin heat is brutal. When your A/C stops blowing cold, you assume it just needs a recharge. Not always.
We worked on a 2019 Nissan NV200 with that expectation. We ran a complete diagnostic with leak detection, evacuated and recharged the system to spec with R134, then ran a leak test.
No leaks. Refrigerant holding steady.
But the compressor still wouldn't engage.
