While I worked there (Jet Industries) we converted the following:
Dodge Pickup
Dodge 9 passenger van
Dodge Omni 024
Dodge Omni
Ford Es**rt
Ford Courrier
Mitubishi microvan
One British Leyland Frankenvan (my parts truck)
Almost forgot the Ford Fiesta. They were great fun to drive. The big vehicles and GE B81 motors where the small vehicles had a prestolite motor but I can't rem

ember the model. While they were electric, they did have a small gasoline tank for the heater. They used these neat little forced air heaters that were designed for air cooled VWs' in order to save as much battery power for range as possible. The "fuel" spilled during the crash tests was gasoline. While the vehicles were electric, the heaters were not. They used these little forced air heaters that were intended to be an upgrade for VW Beetles. When I first started at Jet in 1980 my job was installing them. They had small (I think 1 gal) tanks for the fuel. The idea was to not waste range by burning up battery power on heater coils. I worked there from june of 1980 until the shutdown in December of 1981. (well, we shipped parts for a little while after the new year but the assembly lines were down.)

We have a question "the one I found has 8200 miles, really good condition, 1981 Es**rt. The wiring was refreshed in 2008 by a shop in Chicago. Was originally in a museum, single owner and costs $2,800. Is this a good price?"

We have someone in the community looking at a 1981 jet Electrica 007. Does anyone know what the value should be. Everything seems to work although it needs batteries.
