Mullein has been used for centuries to help with coughs, mucus, and respiratory irritation. Sometimes what we call a “weed” is Mother Nature providing exactly what we overlooked.

Water is a free natural resource. Somewhere along the way, we got used to paying for something the Earth has always provided.

So every few weeks, I hook up my 250-gallon tote, drive out to a natural spring, and fill it up. It’s one of my favorite routines. I get outside for a bit, enjoy the drive, and come home with fresh spring water.
Just remember not every spring is safe to drink.

Always make sure you’re collecting water from a tested public spring or another trusted source.

Would you do this, or do you think I’m crazy?

One of the most underrated experiences in West Virginia 🚂

The Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad takes passengers through the remote Trough Canyon along the South Branch Potomac River, offering mountain views, bald eagle sightings, historic rail cars, an open-air observation car, and even onboard dining.

If you're looking for unique things to do in West Virginia or a scenic train ride that's unlike anything else in Appalachia, this one is worth adding to your bucket list.
Would you ride this train?
