Another tough day with my trailer. Broken spring took me out today. Took out my brakes yesterday and emptied my bank account. Lol small price to pay for Safty. Upgraded the springs to one step heavier so hopefully she’ll last another couple years before needing some more work. Stay safe out there my friends.

Having a “Monday” on a Wednesday. Started hearing what I thought was a brake noise yesterday. Looked today and found my spring mounts for the axles broke. Front and back. The only thing hold my trailer off of the ground were was the center mount and the bolts that hold the leaf springs. Lucky day I didn’t crash or loose two axles. Lucky day!

Time to breath some more life into this old gal. Transmission failed, she’s near 300k on this old girl and she’s still running great! Just needs some connection between this tough 4.0 in line 6 and the wheels. Lol. She’ll be running the streets again by this time tomorrow. Taking my time cause it’s cold outside, warm in the garage and only took a couple hours. Now to swap everything over and set the new transmission in.

My big truck has been down a few weeks due to exhaust leak. Had a couple plans over the past couple weekends, then bad weather so three weeks later, finally got her apart. Wasn’t too bad at all, now just gotta get some fresh parts and gaskets, then put her all back together. It was the left exhaust manifold that had two broken studs. Replacing all so I won’t have to do it again for a while.
