We are looking to hire someone to add to our team at Smooth Transitions! The position would be packing/moving/unpacking senior citizens. We currently have a very close, small team, and are hoping to find someone that fits in well with us! We are currently hiring for two positions. One is more moving, and one is more packing/unpacking. Being able to do both opens up the opportunity to get more hours!
Perks:
-The pay starts out at $21-$24 an hour, and will go up depending on experience and responsibility.
-The boss pays for lunch a lot ;).
-Everyday is different. We go to different communities, work with different families, and it never gets boring.
-Who needs a gym membership when you get to get fit on the job??
-The position is semi full time, which means it's usually 3-4 days a week. And depending on the job we typically get out a little earlier than most. We start at the job (we go where the people need us!) at 9am, and work until we are done. It rarely goes past 4pm...
-We only work Monday-Friday.
-Tips!
-The hours vary for this position to start.. It's part time, and will vary week to week, but averages about 20 hours a week, give or take. This is hopefully changing soon due to expanding our business, but this position might be best for someone who doesn't need full time work at this point.
Requirements:
-Reliability is huge!
-Highly Ethical. We work with senior citizens that are going through huge life changes and need to be trustworthy and kind always.
-The job requires being on your feet all day and some heavy lifting. We use carts, dollies and other equipment to make lifting as minimal as possible, but we are moving after all, so being able to lift heavy items is required.
-Background check (it is required for us to work in each of our communities), driver's license, and a reliable vehicle since we are driving to different locations.
