We’re currently making some important equipment upgrades so we can serve you even better. In the meantime, we’re still fully open and here for you! We’re selling tires and can deliver them next day (Monday–Friday/ Saturday mornings ) straight to your door or to whichever tire shop you prefer.

👀 tag the worst spots in the CSRA

On the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn, near Exit 9A, there is a pothole that just will not stay fixed. The city patches it. Rain comes. It opens again. Drivers hit it in the dark and are left stranded on the highway with a blown tyre, no warning, and no idea what to do next.

For 23-year-old Javier Yat, owner of Jas Mobile Tire in Brooklyn, that pothole is not a problem. It is a business. Javier and his older brother Emilio grew up in Guatemala, learned the trade from their father, and built their business in the US from scratch — starting with just a van two years ago, and opening a real shop eight months back.

Every night around 12:30am, Javier loads his van with up to 10 tyres and heads to Exit 9A. He parks. He waits. Drivers who hit the pothole in the dark start calling. He changes 15 to 25 tyres a night, charging between $150 and $300 each. On a good night that adds up to $2,200. He stays until 10am. When he runs out of tyres, he calls Emilio to bring more from the shop.

The pothole, which Javier describes as about 12 inches deep, brings him roughly 80 customers a year. Every dollar he makes goes back into buying more stock. "I enjoy helping people," he told reporters. "I just try to keep the best price I can for everybody."

We have been getting messages about local dealers in Augusta , telling hard working people that they have to have RUN FLATS on their vehicle …. So let’s get to the bottom of it ….

Run flats are cool , you can drive on it flat for about 50 miles under 50mph … but guess what these tires usually cost $350-450 or more per tire , just for the tire .. plus installation cost … also they have a stiffer harder ride , and cause the vehicle to burn more fuel faster … 👀 uh oh,not so cool anymore

Where as normal conventional tires , comes with a 50,000 to 70,000 mile warranty, smoother rider , better fuel efficiency and guess what .. about a 1/3 of the cost … HUGE $ savings …
