Certified Vehicle Lift Inspector

We are looking for a self-motivated, efficient and organized individual to become a part of our Certified Vehicle Lift Inspector team! This position requires good mechanical, electrical and hydraulic aptitude. The Inspector is responsible to perform certified safety inspections, preventative maintenance, general service and customer training of vehicle lifts. On the job training will be provided before enrollment into the ALI Certification Program to become a Certified Lift Inspector.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES DURING TRAINING:
• Perform lift inspections along side our current Certified Lift Inspectors
• General service work on all types of automotive lifts
• Repairs from previous lift inspections
• Installation of new lifts
• General service of all shop equipment including air compressors and bulk oil systems
• Overnight stays will be required occasionally
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES ONCE CERTIFIED:
• Receive Work Orders as assigned and ensure prompt response
• Perform Certified Inspections in a thorough and timely manner
• Fill out inspection report for every lift inspected
• Document all work performed, and parts used
• Maintain organization of company vehicle, equipment and inventory
• Maintain a professional appearance and follow established safety standards
• Keep good communications skills with team and customers
• Overnight stays will be required occasionally
REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with proof of an excellent driving record.
• Mechanical, electrical and hydraulic aptitude
• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
• Efficiency and time management skills
• Must be a self-starter, work with minimal supervision and be able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with general mechanical tools and procedures
• A team player with a positive attitude
