Knucklebusters Motor Club

Knucklebusters Motor Club Where people meet and share interest and experiences of a great aspect of life--the automobile

09/05/2026

Date and Time: Sat., Sept. 12, 11 to 3ish
Where: Mark Page’s, 7 North Street, Leeds, Maine. Many of you know that Mike Houghton, also known as ‘Big Mike’ passed away earlier this year. This will be his Celebration of Life…enjoying the stories that people remember, celebrating his accomplishments, his relationship with our hobby, the many years that he was a member of Knucklebusters and the many years that he developed several clubs to support the new hobbyists, often referred to as ‘Tuners’. As his time in the hobby developed, it became clear that ‘bad’ behavior would not be tolerated at the events that he and his club members supported…many folks over time were asked to leave an event if they caused issues for others. The idea was that everyone should be able to attend events without a ruckus (I know…old word, I’m old) occurring.
T-shirts will be sold, featuring the many things that were specifically ‘Big Mike’. There will be a slide show filled with many memories, static pictures of many of the memories of him, his friends and his vehicles. There will be music, food trucks (I mean, c’mon, we’re celebrating Big Mike) as well as a surprise showing of one his favorite former belongings. There will be a silent auction and 50/50, the money raised will help defray the expenses and the balance will be banked for his daughter, Annabelle. We’re going to try to have a couple of contests…NO burnouts though. We cannot get insurance to cover damages to people, property or vehicles if they are allowed. Mike had a phrase about that…it’ll be on the shirt.
There will be a parking area for folks w/disabled placards/plates and ALSO there will be an area for Knucklebusters Motor Club members cars, old or daily drivers.
Dave and I will not be joining breakfast plans because we will be helping with the set up for the day.
Please attend to remember Mike and be parked together with other club members, past and present. Hope to see you there

• Ride throughout the day
• Special cars may have a nominal charge to ride. Regular fleet car rides are always included in admission.
Please call 207-782-7895 or email [email protected] if you are planning to meet for breakfast so we know how many people to tell Stacks to set up for.

There will be a food truck there and coffee and donuts and a 50/50 raffle.
