1968 911-S engine case update.

6 sleeves made, 1 case half bored & squared up, 3 sleeves trimmed & pressed in. Now I'm working on the other half, then it has to be setup again, bored and surfaced back to the original dimensions on Porsches blueprint.

Lots of time.

One of the most popular builds we do. A 3.2 liter short stroke just sings & is one of my faves.

The power band with a properly setup CIS injection system is very reliable, responsive and revvy. With bigger valves & some decent cams, a Crankfire ignition and other touches they just don't give up anything throughout a very full, broad and torque-y RPM range.

Out with a badly built 2.7 for this 1974 911, it really shines now that it has a new Holleran's Performance 3.2 liter bullet out back.

Did something a little different.

Early 2.4 liter 7R case getting all of the business. Bore for 92mm cylinders, head studs steel inserts, square up the deck, perform the oil pressure bypass mod and possibly boat-tail the mains.

4.0 liter 964 crankshaft assembled with custom length Pauter Rods

3.2 Carrera assembled with fully reconditioned rods with ARP rod bolts & Clevite coated rod bearings.

Checking to see if the stroker 964 crank will swing in a 3.2 case with the 95mm cylinder bore 😉

Completed this full engine build to a peppy 3.3, transaxle rebuild with all the goodies & suspension upgrade exactly 2 years ago. No silk thread, not one drip, no grime or crud under this road warrior.
