Simulation gets sold as a fancy add-on. We think of it more simply. It is the cheapest way to find out you were wrong, before being wrong costs anyone money. FEA before the prototype. CFD before the housing gets cut. Thermal and dynamic before a program picks a path it cannot afford to walk back. The point is not pretty pictures. The point is fewer arguments, fewer surprises, fewer rebuilds. Auburn Hills, Michigan. Mechanical engineering since 1998.

A lot of what we do for defense customers will never get its own headline, and that is exactly the right outcome. The job is to be right, then be right again, then be right when nobody is watching. Concept sketch. Packaging study. DFM and DFA reviews. Tolerance stack-up. Release engineering and the BOM that goes with it.

Most of what we do is the part of a program that happens before a single part is made. Engineering that ships, not engineering that decorates a slide deck.

A long weekend ahead.

A lot of the work that comes through our shop in Auburn Hills is tied to defense programs. Brackets, housings, scanned assemblies. Most of it never sees daylight outside the customers we support.

We spend most of our time designing, engineering, and solving problems on those projects, often long before a part ever gets made.

The people we support with that work trace what they do back to people who didn't come home.

We'll be thinking about them this weekend. Back to it Tuesday.
