Semi-patiently waiting for the parts to arrive so the can be put back together even stronger. 6yrs of abuse and it really has held up excellent! But, refreshed heads with new parts, more compression, and a much better custom cam should wake this thing up more with a MUCH more usable powerband. And you can see some of the gorgeous parts I have already here ready to be installed.

Injector selection - Day 3

KEY MEASUREMENT 3: FLOW RATE
• Consult your tuner or engine builder for the exact recommendation.
• That being said, LS3/LS7 GM injectors are low cost, abundant, and good for around 625hp on E10 or 525hp on E85. These work well for most naturally aspirated applications. Their flow rate is 41.75lb/hr @ 58psi. They fit in the low position of the Carbon pTR and the o-rings are the correct size with no changes.
• If the engine is boosted and requires more injector, a recommended brand is Injector Dynamics. They have LS3/LS7-bodied injectors in 1050, 1300,1750 and 2600cc/min.

Injector fitment week, Day 2

KEY MEASUREMENT 2: HEIGHT
• Carbon TRc, Carbon XR and XS intake manifolds require 38mm (o-ring center-to-center) injectors ONLY. See image 1.
• Carbon pTR intake manifolds have 3 fuel rail positions to accommodate 3 different injector heights:
o Low position: 38mm LS3/LS7-style
o Middle position: 53mm LS2-style
o High position: 64.8mm LS1/LS6-style
• Carbon pTR middle and high position requires 1/8” thick washer between the fuel rail and the fuel rail mounting bracket. (included in hardware kits)
• The latest generation of all fuel rails includes provisions for fuel injector clips. Use GM PN: 12584591
• Carbon pTR LT and LT2 with the addition of port fuel requires extended tip injectors. These can be purchased through Fuel Injector Connection. See image 2
