Race 16 of our 2025 Points Series had some drama and a bunch of great racing!

The Pensacola Pool Services Dialin Jackpot came down to the wire with everyone shooting for a perfect ET. Travis, Matt H, and David all missed the mark running just a few thousandths of a second too fast. The man on a mission was Johnny, who went dead on the dial with a two to grab the jackpot.

The H2O Leak Detection and Pool Repair & RBA Racing 2.90 Index class had 16 entries. Johnny slipped up in round one, but that would be his last slip up. He took winner and runner-up honors against a great field of competitors. Travis had the points championship locked up as long as he showed up. He took the opportunity to focus on his second entry in points, ultimately leaving not only as our 2025 2.90 Index Points Champion, but also with second place honors as well. He showed a level of consistency this year that couldn't be matched and against some pretty tough competition. Big congrats to Travis!

The Open Bracket class sponsored by Emerald Coast Water Heaters & Emerald Coast Custom Rentals had 13 entries. This class was where the drama was poised to happen. Caitlin led Jonathan by two rounds at the beginning of the day. They lined up head to head for round two and all the marbles. He slept, she laid down a great pass, and locked up the championship! Matt and Jonathan met in the finals after the losers side runoff, with Matt grabbing the day's plaque. Big congrats to Caitlin, who got to wear the crown take the big points pay day!

That's a wrap for AtmoreRC's 2025 Season and our time at Poppy's. Big shoutout to our hosts for allowing us to use the space over these last 2 1/2 years. We've had some awesome racing there.

This isn't the end for AtmoreRC, just the end of this chapter. Stay tuned for our upcoming 2026 plans, but for now we're going to enjoy our winter break and recharge our batteries so we can hit 2026 with a full head of steam!

Race 15 of our 2025 Points Series had some great atmosphere! Great people enjoying some awesome weather, it was just a great way to spend a Saturday!

The Pensacola Pool Services Dialin Jackpot was a close one as usual. Travis laid down a dead on with a five early to take the lead. It came down to Caitlin who would come up just shy, being one ten-thousandth of a second further off her dial. Once again Travis was up for a photo.

The H2O Leak Detection and Pool Repair & RBA Racing 2.90 Index class had 17 entries. Travis and David met in the finals. Travis took the stripe by seven thousandths on a holeshot win and extended his points lead on Rick.

The Open Bracket class sponsored by Emerald Coast Water Heaters & Emerald Coast Custom Rentals had 11 entries. JR put on a clinic taking out points leader Caitlin in round two, then second place in points Jonathan in round four. Matt came from the losers side to battle JR in the finals, but it was JR's day to take the picture holding all the money!

Our bonus class was Dry Tire Outlaw with 5 entries. Robert was the one to beat all day. He laid down a 1.8834 in the finals against David to take home the plaque.

Race 14 of our 2025 Points Series had some of the closest racing yet. There's no pushovers in this crowd!

The Pensacola Pool Services Dialin Jackpot saw Travis take the early lead running dead on with a eight. MattG and MattH would break out by a couple thou each, barely missing their opportunity. Jonathan grabbed the jackpot running dead on with a four.

The H2O Leak Detection and Pool Repair & RBA Racing 2.90 Index class had 11 entries. Travis was on. He beat every other participant at one point or another, leaving his two entries in the finals and extending his points lead.

Caitlin went the distance on the winners' side, beating Jonathan in the finals there. Jonathan got another shot after winning the losers side, but Caitlin had his number and would be the victor of the day. She extended her points lead by a point.

The end of the season is coming up, with only two races left. Don't forget the season finale is a double points race, so anything can still happen!
