Payless Tires in Atlantic Beach wishes to announce to all of our wonderful and loyal customers that we will be closing our doors at the end of the day on 4/30/23. It could be viewed as a sad day but we feel it’s important to share that our tire business simply can’t afford the taxation we’re being issued by the town or the state, whichever you choose to say is the cause. The laws have changed and as of 2022 our business continues to face a $20k business license fee or more each year which is simply unattainable for us. We love and value all of our regulars more than any of you can imagine but it’s time for us to shut our doors and turn to something that will have our best interests at heart. We will still be here offering liquidated items at low costs, everything from bath soap to kitchen tables! Please stop by and see us as we don’t intend to forget you and hope you won’t forget us. We would like to thank Mr. Booker who issued our first business license in Atlantic Beach nearly 10 years ago and all of our loyal and amazing customers over the past 10 years as well. We would like to also thank our employees for sticking with us till the end even though times could get rough. And we would like to thank the town manager Mr Quattlebaum for working with us every step of the way during this difficult time for us. We hope to see you all soon for whatever odds and ends you might need for your home and life! ❤️✌️😊
