To our extended SMS Family: it’s with a heavy heart to announce that our beloved Lawrenceville Service Advisor, Dustin Hobgood’s family needs all the support that they can get right now in this time of need. Dustin was an amazing co-worker, friend and "brother" to us. He leaves behind a beautiful wife Jessica and two beautiful children, as well as many family members.. Rest easy, my friend. Forget about new cars, who doesn’t love a clean classic 90s big body Sonderklasse Benz?!

This beautiful specimen represented the leading edge of the German brand's luxury and tech offerings from its generation. Like the previous S140 this W220 delivered a world record-worthy aerodynamic drag coefficient of only .27, coming full circle from the W180's bus-like cD of .473. More tech also became available with the addition of Brake Assist Plus, PreSafe safety features, Distronic adaptive cruise control and keyless go— but most crucial to power hungry drivers was the introduction of the twin-turbo V12 that churned a healthy 500 horsepower, which constituted a miniscule portion of the nearly half-million W220s sold worldwide.

This particular babied S500 stopped in at our newest Alpharetta shop for brakes, rotors and a all around inspection 🙂

Our awesome associate and friend Alex is no stranger to the lowered lifestyle. When it comes to fitment + suspension work he’s squeezed every last millimeter from each build he's taken on at our Atlanta shop, and each one continues to be a small step further than the last - yet none come close to his latest creation: his very own bagged n’ body-dropped 2018 Audi e-Tron A3.

The Volkswagen/Audi world has been, for quite some time, the epicenter of low cars. Most would credit VW culture with the birth of the "stance" scene, with most high-profile builds generally aiming for one of two things: a level of cleanliness, ex*****on, thought, and polish above all others, or to close the gap between car and earth moreso than anyone before. For Alex, his A3 build quite obviously fell into the latter on all counts, and all we can say is we dig it.
