Slowly rebuilding SpeedPro’s, Inc’s first service truck, and the Nissan Engineers decided to place the starter under the intake. Actually wasn’t that bad once I got started, but they could have placed the mounting bolts going forward instead of reverse. One thing about being an all around mechanic, you’re always learning!!!

If I could have a little talk with the Nissan engineers!!! First set of pictures is a 2012 Maxima power steering pump which wouldn’t have been so bad if it didn’t sit between two brackets with bolts in the front and back! 😮‍💨 (Make sure you take the tensioner off fellow mechanics) Second set of pictures is a 2005 Titan fan clutch mount. You can tell by the design it was a joy and I had to get creative mounting the fan clutch because the new part didn’t come with new studs 🤦🏾‍♂️

What fun, what fun, a 2020 Volkswagen Passat fuel injector replacement. I just loved how the engineers decided to put them under the intake, which everything bolts up to it from underneath. Throttle body, plugs, and wires. But I got it done, and back rolling smoother…
