We finally have cold weather in ATL With the cold temperatures. Please remember to check your tire pressure to maintain safe load carrying capacity. As the temperature drops. Every 10'F drop in ambient temp. will bring a 1 psi drop in the tire pressure. When the tire pressure drops. the ability to carry load diminished. (such as minivan full of kids/luggage) Low air pressure is the main reason we see tire blow out due to excessive heat built up from lack of air in the tires. Please remember to check air pressure monthly and the recommended COLD air pressure is located on the driver's door jamb of most vehicle. We can also add air to all your tires to maintain safe load carrying capacity. Just give us a call and it will only take 5 mins.
