Birthday weekend starts NOW!!! AHHHHH, I'm so excited!
If you know me you know I love giving and serving! In years past I would usually find an organization to donate to or raise money for and this year for my birthday I have the PERFECT Idea!
As you know I recently took on the hobby of crocheting and my idea is to gather donations to buy yarn so I can make blankets
for the new and improved transitional housing for Homeless Veterans called The Barracks of Hope which is located in Daytona.
This organization provides housing for about 72 Homeless Veterans a year helping them connect to resources, finding permanent homes and getting assistance to start a job. The new Barracks of Hope has 20 private rooms along with offices onsite.
They provide a safe place to live and 3 meals a day. They also have a BIG commitment in serving local families with children and those that have aged out of foster care!

I am thankful to the Lord for this idea AND for another year here on earth (even though the world is crazy!) We can't do everything but we can do something! :) Even If you aren't able to donate there's something things you can do! You can pray for donations to come in, share this post, OR even organize some friends to chip in to donate and send in as your contribution!! Every bit helps!
