Today, we are honoring and paying our respects by attending Sgt. Chris Fisher’s funeral service. It is also good to see our brothers Diggs and Doc from the West Central Chapter there, showing their respect.

Rest easy, Sgt. Fisher. Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten. Prayers for his family, friends, and law enforcement family during this difficult time.

Georgia continues to grieve the senseless killing of Sgt. Chris Fisher in Warm Springs last week. As we hold his wife, children, and fellow officers in our hearts and prayers, I have ordered flags to be lowered at the State Capitol and Meriwether, Fayette, and Heard Counties tomorrow, Tuesday, September 8, in honor of his selfless service.
