Anyone looking for a running driving project 1997 Saab 9000 aero. 5 spd? 222k lots of work done to it including replacement transmission and clutch and genuine Saab short shifter and transmission linkage kit a few thousand miles ago.
At the same time new calipers pads rotors brake hoses and some abs sensors along with radiator and some hoses.
Borbet type C wheels with very recent Continental extreme contacts.
Lots of cosmetic stuff done inside and out.
It's got really rust free rear shock towers and the whole spare tire pan is good.
Now for the not so good:
The paint has lots of chips in it all over
The front two jack points and right around them are rusted and soft. I do have cut out panels for both sides or somebody may just want to do their own thing. That's pretty much the only spot that's Rusty with the other exception being the rear dog leg area on the passenger side it had been dented so it's rusting now.
Original suspension is pretty tired. I do have a good used Bilstein setup that didn't have a chance to put in the car yet but could go with the car if somebody wanted to use that.
Just got it out of winter storage will be doing more pictures shortly.
Car is located in athol Mass and is registered and on the road and 100% drivable. If somebody is interested they need to be local though to take a look at it.
Not sure on the pricing yet because there's a lot of options somebody may want to take or maybe they don't like the wheels and they want the stock ones back. If anybody's seriously interested reach out.
Have over 10,000 invested in it and it's not worth anywhere near that. The plan was to continue fixing it up for my son to drive but at 6'5" he's just too tall and the steering wheel gets in the way of his left leg making it hard to effectively use the clutch. So we got him a 9-5 and a sport combi 9-3
