What an exciting end to an even more exciting week! UGA Motorsports has made history by placing 1st in the Cost Event at the Michigan FSAE-IC 2026 competition. This also marks the first ever trophy from Michigan that the team has had the pleasure of taking home. UGA Motorsports placed 43rd overall out of 140 teams, making this year the second best result in team history. We are already gearing up for next year and plan to come back with even better results. We’d like to whole heartedly thank all of our sponsors, the UGA College of Engineering, and everyone who has supported the team. This wouldn’t be possible without you. Go Dawgs!

Day 4 FSAE IC - Michigan 2026: ✅
If one word could describe the UGA FSAE-IC team this week it would be perseverance. Day four started with an early morning track walk straight into troubleshooting and practice before endurance. Even with some trouble with shifting and a last minute change back to dry tires before the race, our drivers completed all 10 laps!

Day 3 FSAE - IC Michigan 2026: ✅
Who’s that coming down the track? UGA had another busy day filled with successes. After passing both sound and breaks, the Bulldogs got some practice time in before completing all three dynamic tests. Good luck to everyone in endurance!

Day 2 FSAE - IC Michigan 2026: ✅
Another day to add to the books. It was nonstop today, with the day starting with design presentations then passing tech inspection and tilt! We have no plans on slowing down though and it’s pedal to the metal for sound, breaking, and dynamic testing!

Day 1 FSAE - IC Michigan 2026: ✅
Today was a busy but successful day for the Bulldogs! The grit and determination of the team was easy to see. With some quick fixes being made, it’s full steam ahead tomorrow for dynamic testing and first in the paddock to do design presentations!

We are so excited to finally unveil our official 2026 FSAE-IC car!

After relentless hours spent designing the car and bringing it to life, we are ecstatic with the results and grateful to all our members for contributing.

We’d like to thank Layton Design Studios under for collaborating on the livery, as well as all of our sponsors for their continued support in making this project possible.

We’re excited to hit the track and represent UGA this upcoming season!

Our UGA Motorsports Endurance team had a great time running our car at the ChinTrackDays event at Road Atlanta this past weekend! It was a valuable time to put our projects and upgrades to the test!

Last week, UGA Motorsports, along with 19 other student organizations, celebrated Engineers Week through various events hosted by the College of Engineering. Our members attended guest speaker seminars, club competitions, and other engineering activities, gaining points for our team in the concurrent student organization competition.

At the conclusion of the competition, UGA Motorsports attended the E-Week Banquet, where we were announced as the winner of the competition! We are so proud of every member that participated and represented our organization throughout the week.

We want to thank the College of Engineering, as well as all of the alumni and speakers, for making this year’s E-Week memorable and providing students with valuable insight into the world of engineering.
