Come check us out TODAY at the Driftmier Engagement Fair‼️🏎️🏁

Pitt Shootout Day 2: Complete ✅

Can’t believe the weekend is already over. The Bulldogs got in a few runs of the South Autocross track and unfortunately had to retire the car before being able to complete the North Autocross track.

Overall UGA Motorsports IC team walked away with some great results. Finishing 15th overall, and within that, 6th in IC acceleration and 9th in IC South Autocross.

We’d like to give a huge thank you to all of out sponsors for making this all possible as well as Summit Point Motorsports Park and Pittsburgh Shootout for hosting this event. Go Dawgs! Sic ‘em!

Pitt Shootout Day 1: Complete ✅

After an early morning load in, the bulldogs had a busy first day at Pittsburgh Shootout! We took some time to make sure the car was perfect for mechanical tech inspection and it payed off because we passed first try. After tech we completed brakes, did a couple runs of acceleration, and finished off with a good first try at autocross!

UGA Motorsports will be attending the Pitt Shootout this weekend! With loads of improvements and upgrades since Michigan, we are excited for some on-track action.

Applications are now open for the fall and can be found in the link in our bio. Join one of our four teams: Endurance, FSAE-EV, FSAE-IC, or Business. You can join no matter your major!

GRAND REVEAL PART III:

Bringing our new brand to life wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible work of the Layton Design Studio in UGA’s Lamar Dodd School of Art. Throughout the spring semester, we collaborated with the studio to develop our new visual identity, including our logo and, most notably, the new liveries for our cars. Students of Professor Lindsey Camelio worked closely with our team to turn our ideas into a design that reflects who we are, and we were proud to unveil the first livery from this collaboration at our Formula SAE IC unveiling event.

Layton Design Studio gives students the opportunity to work on real-world graphic design and branding projects, making this partnership a perfect fit with UGA Motorsports’ mission of providing hands-on professional experience. Thank you to the talented students and faculty at Layton Design Studio for your creativity, collaboration, and dedication. We are so thrilled and grateful to have brought this vision to life together.

GRAND REVEAL: PART II

Every great brand starts with a vision.
As we began reimagining UGA Motorsports, our Formula SAE and Endurance directors began brainstorming, in collaboration with Layton Design Studio, to define what we wanted UGA Motorsports to represent. We wanted to create a brand that reflects a team that stands out while honoring UGA’s long-standing tradition with a modern Motorsports identity. The goal was to find the right balance between the university’s history and our team’s growth as a newer organization. From those conversations came our new visual identity, including an updated logo that better represents who we are today and the direction we’re headed as a team.

Before we kickoff the next exciting year for UGA Motorsports, we’d like to give a very special thank you for all of the seniors who graduated recently! They have all contributed so much to this organization and helping in building the club into what it is today. We will miss them dearly and wish them all luck with their careers. Congratulations and we hope to see you again soon! Go Dawgs!!

What an exciting end to an even more exciting week! UGA Motorsports has made history by placing 1st in the Cost Event at the Michigan FSAE-IC 2026 competition. This also marks the first ever trophy from Michigan that the team has had the pleasure of taking home. UGA Motorsports placed 43rd overall out of 140 teams, making this year the second best result in team history. We are already gearing up for next year and plan to come back with even better results. We’d like to whole heartedly thank all of our sponsors, the UGA College of Engineering, and everyone who has supported the team. This wouldn’t be possible without you. Go Dawgs!
