J&J Scrap Iron & Salvage Co. Scrap metal and metal recycling and salvage and I began picking up metal simply as means of extra income.

History:

Started in 2000, as additional means of income as strictly residential scrap metal pickup, The late James Elliott Sr. As years passed on, we took on a salvage materials as well as resale of salvage materials both on a industrial level and commercial. Also during this period we begun salvage removal for former industrial plants and some construction companies

2005 - After the passing of

my father, I solely continued this business expanding over the years to multi-year services with Express Oil Change Services Centers throughout Decatur as well as Tire Resale in later years all-while expanding coverage area from the city of Athens into Decatur, Florence, Huntsville, Madison and Madison Co. Starting this weekend, I will be opening up the lot at 18256 Jefferson St. in Athens to metal drop offs. Please use driveway number 1 and unload at the tree line near the chain link fence. Please metal only at this time. No dumping, property is monitored by Police so follow rules
