Every technician has that one car they love seeing roll into the shop. 🚗🔧We asked the team at Car Craft of Athens: What’s your favorite car to work on—and why? From classics to modern performance machines, here are their answers.

Richard doesn’t really have a favorite vehicle to work on—and that’s because he works on just about everything.

From European and domestic vehicles to Asian imports, Richard has the experience and skill to tackle them all. If he had to lean one way, he might give a slight nod to Japanese vehicles. But when asked what his favorite vehicle to fix is, his answer was simple:

“A broken one.”

Greyson’s favorite vehicles to work on are Hondas—and honestly, nobody is surprised. 😄

As Car Craft’s Honda and Acura factory-trained Master Technician, he’s spent years mastering these vehicles. He appreciates their reliability, thoughtful engineering, and ease of service. While he’s a fan of most Asian-made vehicles, he’d pick them over European or domestic models every time.

You could say Hondas are his love language. 🔧🚗

Changing a headlight bulb isn’t always a quick 5-minute job. On some vehicles, you have to remove multiple components just to gain access to the bulb housing.

This 2011 Mercedes-Benz ML350 4Matic required us to remove the tire and skid plates off just to reach the headlight housing and complete the repair properly. Modern vehicles can turn simple maintenance into a time-consuming job, but that’s why experience matters.

⛳️ We had an awesome time representing Car Craft of Athens at the 2026 Ice Dawgs Classic Teeing at the UGA Golf Course! Huge shoutout to our two technicians and their brothers for hitting the course and showing their support.

We had a blast meeting everyone, enjoying the tournament, and hanging out at the tent with the great folks from Advance Auto Parts.

Most of all, we just want to say how much we truly appreciate and love the Athens community. The support, friendships, and connections we’ve built here mean the world to us, and we’re proud to be part of such an amazing community.
