HAPPY ANNIVERSARY CORVETTE! It was 73 years ago today on January 17, 1953 that Chevrolet introduced the world to the new Corvette at the GM Motorama Show held in New York City at the Waldorf Astoria hotel.

I just finished a week with a 2024 Stingray.
First, how did I do that?
I used the TURO App. It is very user friendly and our host was Great.
The car
I was always a bit skeptical of the mid engine evolution of the Corvette. Now I can positively say WOW!!
This car is a driver’s dream. Everything advertised about the car seems to be on point. The Only drawback is one you can learn to live with. Due to the exterior design, the doors are very thick. So you have to leave plenty of room in a garage to open them.
I told my wife that renting this car would either cure the itch or make it worse.
I am in need of some Calamine lotion now.
Definitely not cured!!!

Just drove 8 hrs straight.
Very nice ride. Love the technology.
Very powerful.
Have her for 1 week.
