Ranger Owners — Tired of Electrical Gremlins?
Out with one of the worst electrical systems we’ve ever seen on a bass boat, in witha proven, reliable system that gives the owner complete control of their boat.
This Ranger came into Crawford Brothers Repair & Fabrication with a failed soft-touch switching system and control module. Instead of replacing expensive electronics that can leave you stranded, we completely removed the soft-touch pad and computer and converted the boat to a traditional switched electrical system.
Using the factory wiring diagrams (including correcting factory pin-out errors we found along the way), we installed:
✅ New marine-grade switch panel
✅ New fuse and circuit protection system
✅ New bow accessory panel
✅ New ignition key switch
✅ Simplified, serviceable wiring
✅ Easy future troubleshooting and repairs
The result? A boat that starts when you turn the key, accessories that work when you flip the switch, and an owner who can hit the water with confidence instead of wondering if the electronics are going to cooperate that day.
Modern technology is great—until it leaves you dead in the water because a system that has no place on a boat, module, or communication network decides it’s done working.
If you’re a Ranger owner dealing with:
• Soft-touch pad failures
• Accessories that randomly quit working
• Ignition or starting issues
• Expensive electronic control module problems
• Electrical systems that nobody wants to diagnose
Give Crawford Brothers Repqir & Fabrication a call. We can discuss converting your boat to a reliable, easy-to-service electrical system that gets you back to fishing instead of chasing electrical problems.
Built for reliability. Built for fishermen.
