๐Ÿ™ **FINALLY. THE HUMANS FED ME.** ๐ŸŒฎ

After all this travelingโ€ฆ all these giant peopleโ€ฆ all these places where I *thought* we might be stopping for foodโ€ฆ

**IT FINALLY HAPPENED.**

We stopped at **El Maguey Mexican Restaurant in Sand Springs, Oklahoma**, and this certified foodie was READY.

First came the chips and salsa.

Amazing. No complaints. Keep them coming. ๐Ÿ˜‚

But then I met the **taco al pastor.** ๐ŸŒฎโค๏ธ

Oh. My.

I don't want to be dramatic, but I can't imagine anything better.

I have eight arms, and suddenly that doesn't seem like nearly enough to hold all the tacos I want.

The humans may have finally redeemed themselves.

๐Ÿ™ **Squigglyโ€™s Travel Log: Okayโ€ฆ We Found the BIG One.**

We started this week finding giant people along Route 66, and apparently the humans decided we needed to finish it with the **giantest giant person they could find.**

Meet the **Golden Driller** in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

And friendsโ€ฆ

**HE IS 76 FEET TALL.** ๐Ÿ˜ณ

He weighs about **43,500 pounds** and has been standing outside the Tulsa Expo Center since 1966, with one hand resting on a real oil derrick. He represents Tulsa's oil-industry history and the days when the city was known as the **โ€œOil Capital of the World.โ€**

But I did some investigating, and these are the important facts:

His belt is **48 FEET around.**

His hard hat is supposedly a **size 112.**

And his shoe size?

**393DDD.**

Sir.

Where do you even BUY those? ๐Ÿ˜‚

The Golden Driller actually started out as a temporary attraction for the International Petroleum Exposition in the 1950s. People liked him so much that eventually a permanent version was built, and in 1979 he was named Oklahoma's official state monument.

So after a week of cowboys, space men, Rosie the Riveter and assorted enormous humans, I think we've officially reached the grand finale.

**76 feet.**

I am approximately pocket-sized.

I think we know who won. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜‚

Until the humans find another giant person, anywayโ€ฆ

๐Ÿ™ **Cowboy Bob deserved a better picture.** ๐Ÿค ๐Ÿ“ธ

I showed you this giant cowboy before, but the humans helped me get a much better shot this time, so I figured Bob deserved a proper introduction.

This is **Cowboy Bob**, a **21-foot-tall Muffler Man** standing outside **66 Collective** along historic Route 66 in Tulsa.

He's dressed head-to-toe like a honky-tonk cowboy โ€” cowboy hat, bolo tie, boots and, of course, that giant guitar. ๐ŸŽธ He's one of the newer additions to Tulsa's growing collection of fiberglass giants along this stretch of the Mother Road.

Apparently these giant people were originally designed to grab the attention of travelers driving by.

Mission accomplished, Bob.

You got the attention of one very small octopus. ๐Ÿ˜‚

And yes, I made the humans stop for another picture.

At this point they should really know how this works.

๐Ÿ™ **New Week, More Giant People!** ๐Ÿ˜‚

Apparently we're starting another week of Route 66 exploring exactly the way we should...

with **more giant people.**

This time I found **Rosie the Riveter**, a **19-foot-tall fiberglass roadside statue** standing outside **The Pearl Shops** in Tulsa's Meadow Gold District along historic Route 66.

Rosie was installed in 2025 as a tribute to the women who worked in factories and manufacturing plants during World War II, which makes her a pretty special stop along the route.

Of course, I had to get her picture. ๐Ÿ“ธ

At this point, the humans have stopped asking why I'm photographing every giant person we find.

They're learning. ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿ™ **One More Stop at Buck Atom's!**

After meeting Buck and Stella, I figured I should get a picture of the place they call home too.

This is **Buck Atom's Cosmic Curios on 66**, a quirky Route 66 gift shop and roadside stop in Tulsa.

The sign alone pretty much tells you what kind of place this is: toys, souvenirs, Route 66 goodies, and plenty of wonderfully weird things to look at.

Naturally, I approved.

The humans went inside to browse.

I stayed focused on the important job...

Taking pictures of everything. ๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿ™ **And Then I Found Buck Atom!** ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿค

After meeting Stella, I had to get a picture of **Buck Atom** too.

Buck is a **21-foot-tall fiberglass Muffler Man** dressed like a space cowboy and holding a rocket ship. He stands outside **Buck Atom's Cosmic Curios on 66**, right along historic Route 66 in Tulsa.

The shop itself is in a converted 1950s gas station and is packed with quirky roadside souvenirs, local art, and all kinds of Oklahoma and Route 66 goodies.

But obviously... the giant space cowboy is what caught my attention first. ๐Ÿ˜‚

I mean, if you're 21 feet tall and carrying a rocket ship, you pretty much *have* to be photographed.

The humans are getting used to me making them stop for giant fiberglass people.

I think.

๐Ÿ™ **Okayโ€ฆ I Found a GIANT Space Cowgirl!** ๐Ÿค ๐Ÿš€

The giant people of Route 66 just keep getting more interesting.

Meet **Stella Atom**, a **19-foot-tall space cowgirl** hanging out outside Buck Atom's Cosmic Curios on 66 in Tulsa's Meadow Gold District.

And Stella isn't just any cowgirl. She's got a **jetpack, a ray gun AND a Route 66 belt buckle.**

I have eight arms and somehow she still has cooler accessories than I do. ๐Ÿ˜’

Stella was created as the counterpart to **Buck Atom**, the giant space cowboy who stands at the same shop. Apparently the humans think we need a picture of him too.

For once, I agree with the humans. ๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿ™

Besidesโ€ฆ I'm brave for someone with no bones.

I'm not afraid of a 19-foot space cowgirl.

*I'm just keeping a respectful distance from the ray gun.* ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿ™ **Another BIG Route 66 Friend!**

While exploring Tulsa, I found another giant guy hanging out along Historic Route 66...

Meet **Cowboy Bob!** ๐Ÿค ๐ŸŽธ

He's a **21-foot-tall fiberglass Muffler Man**, and unlike Meadow Gold Mack, who's carrying an axe, Cowboy Bob is carrying a guitar.

I think I like his style better. ๐Ÿ˜‚

I stopped to get a picture because, well... when you find a 21-foot-tall cowboy playing guitar on Route 66, you don't just keep driving!

The humans are starting to wonder why I keep making them stop for pictures.

I don't understand the question. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

There are GIANT PEOPLE on Route 66.

I'm taking pictures. That's my job. ๐Ÿ“ธ

๐Ÿ™ **Look Who I Found on Route 66!**

Okay, this guy is **BIG.** ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Meet **Meadow Gold Mack**, a 20-foot-tall vintage fiberglass "Muffler Man" lumberjack standing outside Meadow Gold Mack's Route 66 Outpost in Tulsa's Meadow Gold District.

He's been hanging out along Route 66 with his giant axe, and there was no way I was driving past without getting a picture!

I thought about asking him to hold my snacks...

Then I remembered he has a REALLY big axe. ๐Ÿ”จ

Probably best to keep my snacks to myself. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Another Route 66 treasure checked off my list! ๐Ÿ›ฃ๏ธ

๐Ÿ™ **Squiggly's Route 66 Adventure**

I found a giant sign in Tulsa!

Apparently this is the **Meadow Gold District**, right along Route 66. And yes... I immediately noticed the words **MILK. ICE CREAM.** ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿฆ

As a certified foodie, I feel like those are some very important words.

The humans wanted a picture of the big Meadow Gold sign.

I wanted ice cream.

We did not get ice cream.

I'm starting to question some of their decisions. ๐Ÿ˜‚
