Hey folks, racing season is rapidly approaching. I feel like people don’t appreciate lawnmower racing because they think it’s clunky old grass cutters chugging around the track at 6 or 7 mph. I’m here to tell you folks, you need to see things first hand.
Let’s try to put things in perspective. I’m sure everyone is familiar with winged sprint cars like the ones you see in the World of Outlaws racing series. These cars are the rockets of the dirt racing world. They are capable of speeds up 140 mph on a one half mile track.
Now let’s talk about the top tier, most powerful, fastest of the mower racing world, the FX Twin. These machines still have lawnmower engine, but with major improvements. These machines are the sprint cars of mower racing reaching speeds of 70mph or more on tracks that would fit inside a football field. How’s that for excitement? All the same adrenaline and heart pumping action of high paid professional series, brought to you by someone who could be your neighbor or coworker.
Forget any preconceived notions of mower racing could be and come see what it really is. Who knows, you might catch the bug and join the fun.

Start getting those mowers buttoned up and ready to go.

Being of a certain age not very adept with social media, it seems I have let this page slip. I’ve been lax in updating everyone on the progress of Generation Dad racing.

Now that 2025 season is upon us, I feel obligated to share the updates that happened over the offseason. Some of you may know that Dustin Musicc took a used chassis and a box of parts that I had gathered together and managed to put together a spectacular machine that lasted me all season with no issues outside of user error. He put hours of his own time over several months to give me something worthy of racing.

Not being a person who disrespects or disvalues the effort someone has put in on my behalf, I continue to try to improve on generous efforts. Joe Maglott of Maglott Racing was kind enough to offer advice and suspension upgrades to help with some handling issues I was experiencing. He took my chassis and upgraded the caster plates to give me some adjustments that were lacking as well as a few other tweaks.
Justin Myers of Myers Motorsports has been schooling me on engine modifications to help me develop more power and assembly/tuning tips so I can be a little more self reliant with the knowledge to build my own engines.

Once again, the mower racing family has stepped up and blessed me with their kindness, knowledge, and skills to make me a better racer. If there is another sport where competitors are this willing to help you advance and compete, I’ve yet to hear about. I promise to be a good steward of mower racing for as long as y’all will have me. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love my racing family.

I love my mower racing family.

Sponsor Wanted!!

Hey everyone it’s that time of year where we start beating the bushes and screaming to mountain tops looking for sponsors. We race simply to bring entertainment to the fans. There are no monetary rewards for winning. Sometimes we get a trophy or a sticker, sometimes it’s just bragging rights.
It’s always great to interact with the people who come out to the track.

If you are interested in helping us keep entertaining the race fans, contact us and we can talk about how you can help.
