Can the Volkswagen community from outside of Asheville help to rescue this customers beetle?
If people came from all over the country, that would be fine with me. It needs to be taken to another location and I don’t have anywhere to take it, other shops in the area are dealing with their own situations at this time. It was in 25 feet of water and by a real miracle, it only has a few scratches other than being completely submerged. The lift will need air and electricity to lower it down. And then the vehicle, needs to be completely disassembled. I unfortunately lost everything.
There’s a long story on the car, but it was not in functioning condition, I believe it had a rebuilt, engine and transmission, there are only a few bolts, holding the body to the pan, it was an unfinished restoration. Arrived at my shop and no work had been started on it.
The car is located at 562 Riverside Dr. in Asheville 28801
Please do not go on the property without me the owner. As our primary building completely collapsed and is a health hazard.
The best way would be to look up the property on Google maps there will find my phone number you can text me and we can come up with a plan or you can organize something and then contact me Ryan, because I’m dealing with so much right now and have little cell service. I owned another business on the property also called Mobile Body and Paint.
