🐶 I thought my dogs left a lot of hair in the car… this 4Runner’s interior gave me a run for my money! 🐶

This 4Runner came in for an interior only detail and it was dog infested! My client told me ahead of time that they have two dogs — one being a long haired shepherd — and while I’ve personally never had a shepherd, I do know one thing… THEY SHED! And boy, did I find that out firsthand! It was EVERYWHERE. While I’m sure there are still a few hairs left behind, I did everything I could to make it look as close to new again. I started vacuuming with the seats in, but quickly realized that wasn’t going to cut it — so I flew around and took the front and back seats out and really got down to the nitty gritty. It took a lot of work, but I’m happy to say that it ended up looking great by the time I was done.

The first of three dirty water pours out of my extractor from the RAV4 a few days ago 🤢 and believe it or not, this was probably the cleanest of the 3! 😬 makes me wish I recorded the other two but honestly I didn’t think it was going to get much worse than this!

🚨🤢 WARNING! DISASTER DETAIL AHEAD! 🤢🚨

Most people start their Sunday with maybe sleeping in a little, a nice breakfast with some coffee, some family time, or just relaxing before all the football games start.

But me? Well, my equipment and I started our day with a prayer asking for mercy and the strength to get us through the job!

All joking aside, this one was a doozy! The vehicle that was in for a complete transformation was a 2009 Toyota RAV4. The current owner bought this vehicle last year practically in the same condition that it came to me in. They began taking things apart (the center console, unbolting most of the seats) in hopes of cleaning it themselves, but they quickly realized that it was going to need some serious help to get it clean again — that’s where I came in! EVERYTHING got shampooed and extracted, most of the seats needed it twice! My steamer was busy cleaning all sorts of different… messes… on a whole bunch of trim pieces and door panels. Honestly, there were too many things to mention that went in to getting this interior transformed, but I was super pleased with how everything turned out — and so was my client!

🐶PUPPIES!!🐶

Meet the three dogs of Bourekas Auto Care & Detailing: Milo, Pepper & Bailey! (Can you guess who is who?) While we absolutely love them to pieces, they LOVE the car and also LOVE to make their presence known, even when they aren’t coming along for a ride. Yes, I’m talking about DOG HAIR! “Mr. Bourekas, your mission, should you choose to accept it… FIND MY HEARING AID!”

Yes, you “heard” that right! (Eh?) The owner of this Volvo told me that he had lost a hearing aid in here years ago, and even though he looked everywhere, he wanted me to give it a once over just in case there was a chance it was still hiding somewhere. This vehicle was in for a “Factory Reset” to begin with, so I told him that I was determined to find it one way or another! Upon cleaning the interior, I methodically vacuumed the entire car while being very careful not to suck up a hearing aid! When I thought all hope was lost, I found it in the strangest spot, and it didn’t go far — it was practically straddling the seat belt buckle! Right where the buckle is attached to the inner side of the driver seat, yup, it was there… FOR YEARS!

My client was THRILLED to “hear” that I located his long lost hearing aid, and then informed me how much a good hearing aid can cost… I’ll just say that I was EXTRA glad knowing that I found it for him so he didn’t have to replace it!

This 2022 Jeep Wrangler came in for my “Express Lane” package with a UV protectant add-on for all interior trim/plastics. I can confidently say that this was probably the brightest vehicle I’ve yet to have in my shop! I also took a little time to restore the exterior plastic where the wiper arms are mounted as that was pretty badly faded and the owner of this Jeep hated looking at it — I didn’t blame them!
