Today we delivered the finished Bell for the Ashburn Housing Authority. It has now been mounted back in the top of the Gazebo at the Elderly Village Park. We are very pleased with the results and everyone else involved seemed to be happy as well.

Today we started the process of restoring and bringing back to life process of an old dinner bell for the Ashburn Housing Authority Elderly Village Park Gazebo. If your a local to Adhburn Georgia you should definitely do a drive by on the park renovations that are being done at the village! It is beginning to look alot more welcoming again and hopefully when we are done with the bell it will serve as a cherry on top of the centerpiece Gazebo that was built by the late Billy Phelps. It's an honor to try and bring his work back to life so it and he lives on in some kind of way.

Finally completed and hung our new hand fabricated and painted sign for the front of the shop! Extremely happy with results. If you need something like this made let us know and we can see what we can do for you!

Mocking up the pieces of the sign on the conduit to figure out stand offs and such to be welded. Got a goos way to go before it can be put together though.

Putting in some work to make artwork for a sign become reality today.

New restoration/modernized project is now complete. We took an old school overhead projector that used to be used at schools that didnt work anymore and brought it back to life. I forgot to take pictures of the before but basically I gutted out all the old electronics and fan... installed a new 2000 lumen led work/shop light in it and mounted to the original mechanism the raises and lowers the bulb. Then wired in a new on off toggle switch and replaced the missing plexiglass on top. The purpose for the projector will be to take original artwork on paper copies and transfer them to signs and so forth and have the ability to pretty much recreate the drawings almost perfectly without completely redrawing them everytime. Just a fun and cool little project today that we can now use as a tool for other projects.

Little bit of welding today to begin restoring a old metal decorative lawn chair. I wasnt asked to paint it they want to do it themselves.

If you have enjoyed the custom skateboards that have been painted recently you can now go follow the page for just that. We may share posts on this page from time to time but this page will be going back to mainly showing the restoration work and fabrication work done in the shop as originally intended. So be on the look out for more of those things again on this page specifically.

All thats left is the clear coat and final assembly. Cruiser board for Tiffany Hope Bridges... when asked what she would like on it she told me about her favorite Silverstein song and the album art. That song was Red Light Pledge and looking at the album art the robot looks like he is pledging his heart so I added the redlight. The symbolism works for me. This one was an absolute joy to draw and paint. Here is a look at some of the process of the creation.
