Had my very first customer since relocating to Laporte, IN. Customer came in with a headlight issue. She had an intermittent problem with her headlights not working. Diagnosed faulty wiring inside the headlight assembly causing her issue. Replaced the whole assembly and got it working like new. Customer was charged .75 hours totaling $45.00. For labor only. I have no control over the cost of price.

I have relocated my auto business to the Laporte area. For anyone that doesn’t know I have been in business for the last three years. I opened up Do It Once Auto Repair in the spring of 2021.

I have been an ASE certified technician since 2016 when I graduated from University of Northwestern Ohio for Automotive management. My main goal is to give back to these hardworking communities by not charging an arm and a leg for automotive repairs. Money is way too hard to make these days to spend your whole paycheck getting your car fixed. My labor rate is $60.00 an hour and hasn’t changed in the last three years. I refuse to raise my prices.

We give a 15% discount to any military veteran, emt, or law enforcement personnel. From regular maintenance, suspension repairs, engine repairs, brakes, etc. I do not have the proper equipment to do A/C work, or mount and balance tires. Send me a message, call, or text and we will put you on the schedule and get your car running and driving like new again! Open evenings and most weekends!

I am taking a chance to try and work on getting an automotive repair business going. I have been an ASE certified technician for three years and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Management. Why buy a new car in today’s market when you could spend a little bit of money getting your vehicle back to perfect condition. My hourly rate is well under the going rate for a dealership or private garage. There are no hidden “shop fees” straight up pricing and honest work getting done right the first time.
